The browser cannot ask for Vulkan — that API does not exist on the web. What it can do is read the graphics card and WebGPU support and infer from there. The final word is the installer, which calls Vulkan for real before copying any file.

On Android and iOS the store defines the requirement, and it refuses the install on its own. Repeating the list here would only create a second version to maintain.

Download the installer and open it. No administrator needed.
Pick a folder outside Program Files — the launcher writes the patch there.
Open the game and let the patch finish.
Sign in with your test account. Open registration comes later.
